I’m Sophie, founder of Safety On Board Middle East and a mother of 2 (Sofia and Leo)as well as an international certified advisor of child car seat safety.

We started this journey in the UAE 3 years ago. We relocated from Spain, where rear facing and Swedish Plus Tested car restraint systems are the norm. At that time, we brought along Sofia's Plus Tested car seat(a Klippan Kiss2), to ensure her safety during our transition. Yet, as we embrace life in the UAE, we faced a unique challenge.

With two cars in our family, constantly switching the car seat from one vehicle to another wasn't practical. While searching for her second car seat, and taking into consideration we will only consider plus test certified, soon we discovered that they were not available in the country. 

What a surprise and disappointment this was!

Motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of child fatalities in most countries, and in UAE, 60% of the total children deaths occur on the road. Our purpose is very simple, to save children's lives!  

And so, Safety On Board Middle East was born, a family run business dedicated to ensuring the safety of your most precious cargo. We focus on spreading the awareness about the life-saving benefits of rear facing and Swedish Plus Test certified car seats. We aim to provide parents the right knowledge and information to allow them to take the right decision for what is best for their families, because every child deserves the highest level of protection when traveling.

Ah! I almost forgot, we also retail the most dedicated brands, so you have enough Plus Tested car seats to choose from. We believe that if it is not good for our children so neither for yours!
